On Tuesday 26 March 2019, MCCCC hosted a sustainability information session at CERES.

Over platters of delicious finger food provided by the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre, attendees heard speakers from CERES, Moreland Energy Foundation Limited (MEFL) and Scienceworks.

Topics included MCCCC’s own sustainability journey so far, as well as our future vision, tips on how to conserve energy in the home and a presentation about the importance of STEM (science, technology, engineering and maths) within the early years’ curriculum and how it supports sustainability objectives.

The evening was a wonderful opportunity for families and parents to visit the CERES site and hear from a variety of informative speakers.
